Get a look inside some of Fernandina’s lovely, private beach residences during the annual Amelia Island Holiday Home Tour – and that’s not all. The 2018 Amelia Island holiday season is just getting started!
There’s always something fun to do or see on Florida’s Amelia Island but that’s doubly true during the holiday season.
Some of our most popular events occur in November and December. The Amelia Island Holiday Home Tour is a great example – but so is the Downtown Fernandina Pajama Party!
In fact, the rapidly approaching Thanksgiving Weekend sees two popular, seasonal events:
Downtown Fernandina Pajama Party
November 23, 2018 – 8am to 4pm
Follow this event on Facebook.
“Black Friday” never felt so comfy! Come join the merchants of downtown Fernandina Beach for the annual holiday Pajama Party! Great sales, special offers, yummy treats, live music, a block party, pajama contest, and so much more.
You don’t have to wear your jammies to the party – but you might win a prize if you do! Always a fun time.
Downtown Fernandina Christmas Tree Lighting
November 24th, 2018 – 2pm to 6pm
Marina Parking Lot A – 1 Front Centre Street Fernandina Beach
The annual, downtown Fernandina Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony provides a festive and friendly time for all.
There will be food, drink, live music by the Nassau Community Band, and performances by the Royal Amelia Dancers.
Come have your picture taken with Santa and the Fernandina Beach Pirates, enjoy some snacks, and maybe even get a little shopping done!
Amelia Island Holiday Home Tour 2018
November 30 & December 1, 2018, 10am to 4pm
Five of Fernandina’s lovely, private beach homes on Fletcher Street will open their doors to the public this year for the tour. Each has been professionally decorated for the holidays by one of three local interior decorators.
Each Amelia Island Holiday Home Tour will take between 45 minutes and an hour to complete. You may tour the homes in any order you like and stop at any time. Avoid longer lines by starting your tours later in the day.
Tickets for Amelia Island Holiday Home Tour 2018 can be purchased online and is good for both Friday and Saturday, so you can make a weekend of it, if you wish.
Proceeds go towards the Amelia Island Museum of History, who also host the event. Learn more about Amelia Island Holiday Home Tour 2018 at ameliamuseum.org.
