Catch the spirit of the season at the Annual Amelia Island Bed and Breakfast Holiday Cookie Tour hosted by the Amelia Island Bed and Breakfast Association on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 12 noon until 5:00 pm. You are invited to experience a special afternoon of delicious sweet treats as six of Amelia Island’s classic inns and charming bed and breakfasts dress up in festive holiday finery and open their doors to you! At each of these six Historic District inns, you will sample a signature cookie, collect some great decorating ideas, and take home a beautifully printed recipe card just in time for holiday baking. You’ll even learn a historical tidbit or two from our docent guides as you peek inside Amelia Island’s prettiest “ornaments”.
Complimentary horse-drawn carriage and trolley rides will be available from inn-to-inn or you can enjoy the view on foot with the short walk between houses. Stops are marked on your ticket and on the map located below.
In the spirit of the season, you can enjoy the Holiday Cookie Tour knowing that a portion of the proceeds from ticket and cookbook sales will benefit Micah’s Place, Nassau County’s domestic violence center. We encourage you to click here for Tour updates.
2016 Holiday Cookie Tour of Inns
Date: Saturday December 10, 2016
Time: 12 pm-5pm
Place: Begin your tour at any of the six bed and breakfast inns on your ticket. The Tour is self-guided and self-paced so you may go in any order that you’d like. You may walk or take a complimentary ride on a carriage or trolley between inns. Maps and stops are printed on your ticket.
Tickets: Available online beginning in July and in person beginning in September. Tickets and Sweet Deal Packages purchased online will be mailed out beginning in October. Earlybirds will get the best prices; the earlier that you buy, the more you will save.

Ticket prices are for all ages and can be purchased in person beginning September 1st at any of the Amelia Island Bed and Breakfast Inns, the Amelia Island Visitors Center in the railroad depot on Centre Street, Micah’s Place Purple Dove Resale Center, the Fernandina Beach library, and the Chamber of Commerce Gateway office. (See ticket link below. ) Tickets will be available the day of the tour if they are not sold out.
Tickets will also be available online (there is a shipping/handling fee for all online orders.)

Cookie Tour Sweet Deal Packages offer great value for a combo-pack of tour tickets, our cookbook and a future stay at your favorite inn – and, Micah’s Place benefits from each package purchased. Inn have donated three packages each for the benefit Micah’s Place. Packages must be purchased online. Sweet Deal packages are priced at only $150 (plus $9.75 shipping/handling and $10.50 tax). This amazing package (valued at $275 – $375 depending on the inn selected) includes:
- A gift certificate for a one-night midweek stay (Sun – Thurs) for two adults at your Sweet Deal inn choice. Your stay will include breakfast and other fine inn amenities.
- “Sunshine Mornings at the Inns of Amelia” our newest Association cookbook featuring breakfast/ brunch recipes from all inns with some cookie recipes from Tours past to “sweeten” the deal.
- Two 2016 Cookie Tour tickets are included with each Sweet Deal package purchased- keep them or give them as a gift.
- Sweet Deal Packages are available online only beginning July 1st. If your selected inn doesn’t show up in the list, packages from that inn are sold out, so please select another. Hurry these won’t last long.

You may purchase your Amelia Island Cookie Tour tickets using cash, checks or credit cards at any of our locations in person. Inns can accept credit cards with a $1.00 per ticket surcharge. Purchase tickets here online with a credit card plus a $2.50 processing surcharge per ticket. Sweet Deal Packages are available online only.
