Rendezvous Film Festival 2018It’s almost time for Rendezvous Film Festival 2018 on Amelia Island! This popular, 3-day film festival includes mixers, after parties, workshops, and more! September 20th through the 23rd, 2018.

2018 marks the 11th annual return of the Rendezvous Film Festival and this year’s is shaping up to be one of the best. The festival screening committee chose 76 films from 13 countries as this year’s official selections and say audiences are in for a real treat.

The annual Rendezvous Film Festival celebrates independent filmmakers from around the world, with a focus on films made in Florida. The festival screens short films, narrative films, features, and documentaries. Awards given include Best Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Child Actor, and a Best in each category.

This years festival also features a Filmed in Florida block and a special Horror Block. The latter offers a sneak peak of the upcoming (October 26-28) Scare Fest at Orange Park Mall. Rendezvous Film Festival 2018 will also be screening the winners of this year’s Jacksonville 48 Hour Film Project.

Beyond all the great film screenings, Rendezvous Film Festival will also offer workshops with screenwriters, entertainment attorneys, Grammy-winning music producers, and others. The weekend is rounded out with mixers, after parties, and other fun events. will enjoy an award ceremony and and brunch on Sunday, September 23.

Best of all, the festival is held on beautiful Amelia Island. This not only means GREAT weather but also that all activities are within walking distance of each other!
