Amelia Island's Sounds On Centre 2018 seasonIf you’re looking for somewhere on Amelia Island to get your groove on, historic downtown Fernandina Beach is a great place to start! Some of the finest musicians on Amelia Island can be found playing in the bars here – and Sounds on Centre!

Sounds on Centre is a series of free concerts and other events held the first Friday of every month, April through October. The concerts take place at the intersection of Second Street and Centre Street in Fernandina Beach, FL. Shows are from 6pm to 8pm and include a variety of genres throughout the season.

Sounds on Centre 2018 Season

July 6 – The Honey Badgers
The Honey Badgers are a talented, local, classic rock covers band. For this concert, they’re planning two great sets music: one set of hits from the UK and one of USA hits. It should one again be be a great night for dancing in the street in front of The Palace!

August 3 – Flipturn
Flipturn is a five-piece, indie rock garage band that has performed throughout Florida. The band’s music, youthful energy and exciting stage presence translates into a captivated audience chanting, “One more song!” at the end of each show.

September 7 – Island Vibe
Island Vibe offers good-times, grooving, Music For the Ages. Come out and get down to their undeniable island beat!

October 5 – TBA: Stay tuned for an October surprise!
